Associate Financial Advisor

Job Summary
Conduct client engagement by meeting with personal and small business clients to understand priorities, advise on solutions, and provide forward-looking financial plans. Manage portfolios of mortgage clients individually or as part of a team to deepen relationships and ensure investment, financial, and credit needs are met. Execute relationship building through marketing, outreach, and networking with clients' families to uncover growth opportunities and refer to appropriate partners. Leverage technology by introducing clients to mobile banking applications and managing banking centre hours that may include evenings and weekends. Work full-time on-site at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance to deliver a great client experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations
- current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada)
- eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing
- valid work or study permit
- current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice)
- legal eligibility to work at the location(s) specified
