Job Summary
Operate the compressor station and pipeline system on a rotating schedule, responding to callouts and participating in an area-wide on-call rotation for emergency conditions. Identify and report abnormal or unsafe conditions, complete accident and near-miss reporting, and support emergency response efforts. Perform regulatory compliance activities, equipment maintenance, and repair in accordance with DOT regulations and manufacturer specifications. Handle reciprocating and turbine compression equipment, conduct preventative maintenance on meter stations, corrosion control systems, valves, and leak surveys, and manage facility encroachment activities including pipe locates and excavations. Assist with construction activities and acquire Operator Qualification tasks.

- Experience with Microsoft programs
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet
- Ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns
- Ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle
- Strong commitment to Personal and Team safety
- 4 (plus) years of natural gas operations and maintenance experience
- More than 3 years of experience on pipeline operating systems and DOT 192 knowledge
- Associate degree or Certificate of Completion in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an Institution Accredited by one of the National Regional Accrediting Bodies
- High School Diploma
- Pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing
