Job Summary
Prepare and configure new laptops and PCs for incoming staff, manage physical onboarding shipping, and provide break/fix support for hardware and software issues. Diagnose and resolve connectivity problems, coordinate equipment replacements to minimize downtime, and contribute to acquisition integration tasks as the EU team expands. Maintain a shared knowledge base for common resolutions and apply technical standards to document processes. Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for desktop and enterprise applications while traveling as required to support team needs.
Required Qualifications
- at least 1+ years of experience in an IT support role
- solid foundation in computer basics, including Microsoft Windows OS and Office
- natural troubleshooter who is comfortable physically handling equipment and managing the end-to-end process of preparing and shipping gear
- PC hardware setup and configuration
- Strong diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with technical documentation
- Proficiency in supporting enterprise desktop applications
- Travel as required to support team needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an EU-wide IT support team
- Familiarity with logistics or shipping procedures for IT hardware
- Exposure to corporate acquisition integration environments
- Proven experience in troubleshooting network connectivity and communication protocols
