Job Summary

Associate Field Engineer - Controls role involves electrical and instrumentation engineering for Data Center projects, including PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, commissioning support, and start-up assistance. Major responsibilities include BMS installation and wiring QA/QC verification (Level 2), Point-to-Point testing of field devices (Level 3) with data integrity to the control system, Functional Performance Testing (Level 4) of control sequences and alarm/trend configurations, and System Level Testing (Level 5) to ensure integrated operation across systems. The position requires coordination with electrical subcontractors, understanding of control systems, field instrumentation, and low-voltage designs; and includes a significant amount of on-site work (60-100% site location) with travel between US-based assignments. The role is full-time, with an emphasis on new graduates or 0-2 years of field experience, and offers comprehensive ESOP benefits and relocation/travel allowances.,

Required Qualifications

  • BS Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; AA in Engineering Technology or equivalent may be substituted
  • Understanding of field instrumentation, hardware panels and low voltage controls design
  • Understanding of control systems, PLC programming, SCADA programming
  • Experience 0-2 years (new graduate)
  • Ability to work on construction environments, travel, and field site conditions
