Job Summary
Lead heterogeneous catalyst research and development, defining execution plans, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, and establishing the catalyst development and scale-up roadmap. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to project teams and junior scientists, ensuring high technical quality while engaging internal and external partners to deliver novel catalytic solutions. Collaborate with global management to implement the Global Catalysis strategy, develop organizational competencies, and establish technological partnerships with universities and startups. Establish and oversee vendor relationships to deliver lowest cost catalyst solutions, driving process efficiencies and new product development for clients across diverse industries.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience with catalyst discovery and/or development
- Leadership experience (either technical team or direct reports)
- Strong safety mindset
- Strong focus on mentoring
- Track record of working in a team environment
- Strong technical/problem solving aptitude
- Initiative, a drive for results, and ability to solve complex problems by identifying and enrolling appropriate resources
- Must be team and results oriented with the ability to lead and implement new technology improvements
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates must be currently eligible to work in the United States without the need for any type of sponsorship now or in the future

- The candidate should demonstrate a track record of developing catalyst technologies and leading teams in heterogeneous catalyst research
