Job Summary
Manage your own files while providing guidance and support to junior lawyers on strategy and legal issues. Handle contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, and property equalization matters. Demonstrate strong analytical, research, and writing skills to develop and implement successful strategies for clients. Maintain excellent communication and entrepreneurial spirit to build client relationships. Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with a minimum of five years of family law experience. Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years experience in a law firm dealing with Family Law matters
- excellent knowledge and understanding of matters related to contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child, and spousal support, as well as property and equalization of net family property
- excellent communication skills
- entrepreneurial spirit
- proven success in building client relationships
- member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- strong analytical, research and writing skills
