Associate Executive Director

Job Summary

Assess operational issues and develop comprehensive solutions to maintain a high-quality program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Lead and train the team to support programmatic initiatives, daily routines, and unique client needs while managing performance through communication, training, and staff meetings. Develop current and future programs including residential supports, personalized supports, and supported employment. Establish a Business Advisory Committee, conduct fundraising activities, and maintain relationships with local, state, and governmental agencies. Ensure clients receive required supports per their Individual Support Plan and audit finances to ensure accurate documentation. Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • experience in administrative and supervisory roles
  • Valid driver's license
  • satisfactory driving record
  • demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
