Job Summary
Associate Executive Director leads and coordinates community operations and staff, oversees resident programs, budgets, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance; represents the organization in community and professional meetings; mentors and evaluates personnel; facilitates staff communications, town halls, and resident engagement; requires an administrator training certification or equivalent experience with 3 years of direct care or management experience, associates degree or higher, supervisory experience preferred, and strong English communication and budget skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old and has obtained certification of completing a recognized administrator training and has three years paid experience providing direct care to vulnerable adults OR managing persons providing this type of care
- Associate degree (or higher) in a related field (health, social work, business administration, etc.) AND has completed a qualifying administrator training program OR completes the program within six months of starting administrator duties OR has two years paid experience providing direct care to vulnerable adults in a setting licensed by a state agency for this type of care OR managing persons providing this type of care
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime
- Ability to read and understand monthly financial statements and budget reconciliation reports
- Solid public speaking and communication skills
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
- CPR and First Aid Certification as required by State regulation
- Current Food Handlers Card
- Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees
- Maintains CPR and First Aid Certification as required by State regulation
