Job Summary
Associate, Envelope Restoration at SOCOTEC supporting Building Envelope division. Lead and mentor staff on projects including forensic review, bid document preparation, construction administration, and facade-related services. Advise on enclosure performance, constructability, and durability; produce well-written project reports; present white papers/case studies; collaborate with client teams; ensure compliance with building codes (including Energy Codes); manage internal service offerings and manpower to meet project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years working with building envelope/enclosure project experience
- 3-5 years leadership level in a professional services company
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Registered Architect
- Knowledge of Architectural design & construction and local codes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Inspection certificates preferred
