Job Summary
Associate in Pfizer Global Procurement focused on enterprise-industry procurement engagement in Italy. Leads and co-leads moderately complex projects, negotiates contracts for goods and services, oversees supplier management and category strategies, and drives cost savings and working capital objectives. Collaborates with procurement specialists, aligns supplier selection with local market intel, and supports diversity and inclusion initiatives while managing site-based category plans and risk assessments. Emphasis on managing the end-to-end sourcing process from project initiation to supplier performance, with independent decision-making in ambiguous situations and strong stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of competency with various procurement tools
- Solid understanding of Project Management fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in leading projects
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in ambiguous situations
- Bonus Points If You Have: Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in procurement systems, processes, and procedures
