Job Summary
Engineer in Transmission Operations Compliance provides technical support to resolve operational issues, develops and refines maintenance processes, analyzes existing operations to improve reliability and efficiency, and maintains compliance through planning, documentation, audits, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires applying multiple engineering disciplines, documenting plans and actions for management approval, maintaining compliance databases and evidence repositories, and preparing audit packages. Strong analytical ability, project management, and written/oral communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas encouraged to apply
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience for Engineer level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within a team
- Understanding of Reliability Standards and regulatory/code requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience (Engineer level)
