Job Summary
Support software inspection, testing, verification, and validation while implementing and overseeing software development and maintenance methods. Ensure reliability measures meet acceptable standards and define operating criteria to align the software quality program with project, process, and contract objectives. Guarantee project and process-control documentation complies with requirements and contracts, and contribute to reviews of software designs, change specifications, and plans for contractual and process compliance. Verify software requirement allocation, traceability, and testability, and evaluate applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. This fully on-site role in Buffalo, NY requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and U.S. Citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, including Agile
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- Experience with software quality processes, procedures, and related process‐control documentation, ensuring compliance
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with Software Quality Assurance standards and best practices
