Job Summary
Design and execute prototype equipment and validate performance to meet organization and/or global standard from all aspects, i.e., performance, safety and durability. Conduct validation trials, collect data, and generate detailed technical reports. Assist projects through the IDP stage gate process, preparing gate review decks and managing technical deliverables. Monitor and manage project timelines, in coordination with Project Managers and Marketing. Scout and assess new technologies, materials, and external partners to drive innovation. Ensure regulatory compliance for new product developments. Maintain proper lab operations, including equipment upkeep, sample management, and material stock control. Conduct package performance and material testing, including fitness-for-use evaluations. Participate in field trials, customer demonstrations, and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, sales, and finance to ensure successful product rollout and cost alignment. Promote workplace safety and uphold laboratory best practices and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- M.Tech/M.E in Mechanical engineering
