Job Summary
Lead road and highway design projects from concept through completion while providing technical oversight to multidisciplinary teams. Manage project scope, programme, quality, and commercial outcomes, and review designs and calculations for accuracy. Develop trusted client relationships and support project pursuits and proposals. Mentor engineers and graduates to foster professional growth and contribute to the Roads & Highways business expansion. Requires 10-12 years of experience in roads and highways, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and RPEQ or Chartered status. Based in Townsville, this role offers relocation assistance for candidates moving to the region.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 10-12 years' experience delivering roads and highways projects
- Demonstrated experience managing project delivery and technical outcomes
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship skills
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers
- Sound commercial and project management awareness
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- RPEQ or Chartered status, or a commitment to obtaining registration
