Job Summary
Support Ride and Show teams with engineering technical assistance for show action equipment scopes, including calculations, design, drafting, and research. Review vendor design documents for drawings, components, calculations, test plans, and results. Edit and update engineering specifications to support system delivery. Manage vendors through bidding, design, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, start-up, and commissioning. Develop or execute test protocols and witness or approve testing as authorized. Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and theme park-specific experience supporting show action equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable technical field (examples include, but are not limited to, Technical Theatre, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering)
- Experience in direct theme park specific technical/engineering roles supporting show action equipment (examples include, but are not limited to, technical theatre, stage equipment, rigging systems)
- similar experience in related technical field
Desired Qualifications
- Project experience within the entertainment/theme park industry
- Any experience in theme park development, construction, show and ride systems design or fabrication
