Job Summary
The Associate Engineer - Process (Wire Bond & Die Attach) is responsible for supporting the DR8 Gen1.5 Die attach process, assisting the process engineer in achieving assembly targets, ensuring equipment qualification and maintaining production tools. The role involves performing periodic verification and calibration, providing technical support for uninterrupted production, and executing improvement projects to enhance process performance. The engineer will handle product documentation, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, and monitor reaction plans to improve product yield. Preferred skills include Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and knowledge in manufacturing processes, particularly wire bonding and die attach.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics or Electrical
- Experience working in high mix and high volume manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge of process problem solving analysis
- Good computer literacy and knowledgeable in SAS JMP, Minitab and SPC knowledge
- Experience in supervising and leading a team of process personnel
- Strong analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude on machine troubleshooting
