Job Summary
Associate Engineer role at RTX Pratt & Whitney in Singapore focused on leading and supervising a team of technicians to disassemble, inspect, repair and assemble engine parts within an OEM MRO facility; perform TPM on equipment; assist supervisory staff; comply with EH&S regulations; execute SAP transactions; cross-functional duties; requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years aerospace experience and certifying-staff credentials aligned to CAAS licenses; expects rotating day/night shifts and overtime; knowledge of SAP and Solumina and familiarity with PW4000/PW1100 engines is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines
- At least 2 years of relevant technical experience in the aerospace industry
- Prior experience as Certifying Staff in a part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization
- Lapse period between last date of Certifying Staff role and date of hire must not exceed five years
- Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis
- Possess CAAS Examination Credits (SAR7 or SAR66) / Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licenses
- M02 & M08 OR CO2 – Physics & Basic Aerodynamics OR Physics and Aerodynamics (and related licenses)
- M06 & M07 OR TM1 – Material and Hardware & Maintenance Practices OR Aircraft Materials and Hardware, and Maintenance Practices
- M09 – Human Factor and Error Management
- M10 OR CO1 – Airworthiness Administration OR Air Legislation
- M15 – Gas Turbine Engine OR SAR-7 (A&C – certifying complete engine) L11 OR L12 – Airworthiness Administration OR Air Legislation
- H11 – Human Factor and Error Management
- B11 – Maintenance Practices and Materials
- B13 – Electrical and Instrument Systems
- C14 – Turbine Engine Theory and Construction
- C15 – Turbine Engine Systems
