Job Summary
Design engineering support for Global Environment in New Product Development (NPD), VAVE and improvement projects. Work on concept design, NPD, Bills of Materials, CAD modelling and detailing using SolidWorks, and change orders to maintain quality. Produce design packages with 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures. Able to work independently, follow the organization’s project management process, and contribute to schedule adherence. Collaborate within Global Engineering to ensure quality and timely delivery, and leverage PLM tools; telecom/electrical enclosure design is an added advantage. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 years of SolidWorks experience in sheet metal
- 3D modelling and detailing in SolidWorks with BOM generation
- Experience with PLM tools
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
- Experience with telecom/electrical enclosure design
- Good interpersonal skills & English communication
- Self-motivated, disciplined, organized
- Ability to handle large CAD assemblies in SolidWorks
Desired Qualifications
