Job Summary
Packaging Associate Engineer role focusing on design, development, validation, and optimization of packaging solutions to protect products, ensure cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainability; collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, marketing, procurement, logistics, and suppliers; prepare packaging specifications, drawings, BOMs, and customer-facing instructions; support production and resolve packaging-related issues; evaluate packaging materials for performance, recycled content, recyclability, cost, and sustainability; ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and international/national regulations; support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. In lieu of a degree, previous work experience may be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design using MCAD tools
- 1 year of experience in packaging or manufacturing engineering is desired
- Working knowledge of documentation practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
