Job Summary
The Associate Engineer contributes to building data pipelines, ML workflow components, and platform features following established patterns to support production-ready AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities include implementing data pipelines, writing readable and testable code, developing tests, troubleshooting pipelines, and contributing to team scoping and design. The role emphasizes ownership of development, proactive communication about blockers, and ongoing growth in technical and professional skills. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required in quantitative or engineering discipline
- 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, ML engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Familiarity with Git, testing practices, code review, and documentation
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Databricks)
- Familiarity with ML concepts and workflows (model training, feature engineering, data preparation)
- MLOps experience a plus
- Ability to work within team guidelines and standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and grow technically and professionally
