Job Summary
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded C++ software integrated into devices for Vehicle Health Management systems. Translate customer requirements into software designs, build code for specialized hardware, and integrate components with program partners. Analyze and improve software efficiency while tracking team performance to ensure compliance with industry standards and project plans. Participate in use case development and implement emerging technologies like AI to enable predictive maintenance for military aircraft. Work onsite in an Agile environment using Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes toolsets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires
- U.S. Citizenship
- 2+ years of experience with embedded systems and/or developing software (C, C++)
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile product development environment
- 2+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry
- Secret Clearance is a plus
- Experience with Linux, Software Containers (Docker and Kubernetes), CI/CD (JIRA, Gitlab, Ansible, & Artifactory), Model Based Systems Engineering (UML, SysML, Cameo, MSOSA), and Automated Testing
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options
- This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing and deploying embedded C++ applications within an Agile environment
- Familiarity in Linux, software containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, and toolsets like JIRA and Git
- Experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as MSOSA or Cameo
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years of related work experience
- 6+ years of directly related work experience
- 10+ years of related, relevant experience
- Experience with Linux, Software Containers (Docker and Kubernetes), CI/CD (JIRA, Gitlab, Ansible, & Artifactory), Model Based Systems Engineering (UML, SysML, Cameo, MSOSA), and Automated Testing
