Job Summary
Manage the full project management lifecycle, including kickoff, delivery milestones, scheduling, quality, risk, and closeout. Oversee contract administration activities, submittals, RFIs, and change management while coordinating interdisciplinary dependencies and stakeholder communications. Lead project fee proposals, budgets, and billing to ensure alignment with approved scope and drive revenue collection. Coach and mentor project managers, develop performance reviews, and support recruitment activities. Ensure consistent application of TQM practices and firm standards across technical deliverables, scope, cost, and schedule. Coordinate proposal and RFP responses, build client relationships, and identify growth opportunities to support firm strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Consistently demonstrates Smith + Andersen's core qualities, values and standards
- Successfully completes Smith + Andersen's Designated Project Manager (DPM) accreditation
- Recognized technical and professional leader with strong client credibility
- Demonstrates strong ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent presentation skills with experience leading client meetings and facilitating decision-making
- Committed to delivering excellent client service while developing and supporting team members
- Flexible, approachable and willing to commit to additional effort when required to ensure project needs are met
