Job Summary
Perform connector terminations, sealing, bonding, and closure of wire harnesses while interpreting engineering drawings and technical orders to execute electrical modifications and repairs. Conduct visual inspections, operational checks, and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and communications systems using tooling assemblies and riding electric elevating equipment. Coordinate material movement, ascend vertical ladders, and work in confined spaces while adhering to safety procedures and standard work instructions. Maintain necessary certifications and pass assessments during the training cycle. Variable shifts, overtime, and weekend work required.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems
- 4+ years of experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
- 4+ years of experience with component and wire installation to include repairing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting new, experimental, and disturbed systems
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime
- Ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Desired Qualifications
- FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant
