Job Summary
Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies while participating in Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions for defense platforms. Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to develop conceptual designs, maintain program architecture, and translate electronic bill of materials into manufacturing bill of materials. Resolve technical problems, implement new engineering principles and Lean technologies, and review electrical design requirements to approve new releases and revisions. Manage non-conformance requirements in shop floor work orders and supplier specifications to create and maintain part demand within the production system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Experience working with Electrical Design requirements and manufacturing processes
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
Desired Qualifications
- Entry level knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT
- Ability to interact frequently with internal personnel and external customers
- Ability to represent the organization by providing solutions to moderately difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
- Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, and develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
