Job Summary
Conduct condition surveys, produce written reports, and develop electrical and mechanical designs and specifications for operational engineering projects. Lead electrical services design on large projects and manage overall MEP on smaller projects while providing technical advice to clients on building services operation. Work on retrofit and overhaul projects involving major assets such as generators and HV/LV switchboards. Collaborate with industry experts and liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors to deliver projects that exceed expectations. Requires Chartered engineer status or close proximity, with a salary band of £58,500 - £80,000 plus a £4,560 travel allowance. Required Qualifications
- Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering
- Solid understanding of building services
- Proven experience in using standards and codes applied in building services
- Strong knowledge of wiring regulations
- Strong knowledge of fire detection systems
- Strong knowledge of general and emergency lighting design
- Ability to undertake MEP building services surveys with minimal supervision
- Autonomous approach
