Job Summary
Associate Electrical Engineer responsible for supporting wastewater and underground utility projects with a focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. The role involves collaborating with operators, trades professionals, and external stakeholders; interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings; estimating labor and materials; applying recognized engineering standards; and supporting planning, design, construction, and optimization of capital projects. Required skills include proficiency with electrical distribution, low/medium voltage systems, instrumentation and control, NEC knowledge, PLCs, and the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form. Education mandated is a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering; FE exam within 6 months of hire; and a valid driver’s license.
