Job Summary
Associate Electrical at CMTA/Legence focused on designing complete electrical systems and owning internal project growth. Responsibilities include producing complete electrical systems design drawings per code, collaborating to solve complex engineering problems, organizing technical and financial proposals for new work, keeping senior staff informed on design decisions, establishing strong relationships with the design team, and responding to RFIs with timely, accurate information. Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering with 5+ years in the MEP space; PE preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT; strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and ability to translate technical work into client-ready reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required; PE highly preferred
- 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in the MEP space
- Expert knowledge of building codes and standards, engineering drafting standards, electrical engineering standards, and other trades
- Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings
- Advanced technical knowledge of electrical systems; ability to investigate, identify, and provide solutions to technical problems
- Experience in the preparation of technical reports for delivery to a client audience
- AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency
