Job Summary
Associate Educator in La Jolla, CA supports planning and implementation of curriculum and daily instruction in partnership with lead teachers, delivering whole-group, small-group, and individual learning experiences; leads intervention and enrichment in reading, math, and other subjects; reviews student work and provides feedback under lead teacher guidance; supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development through responsive instruction; helps create an inclusive, engaging classroom culture; supervises students during arrival, dismissal, and activities; maintains communication with families and participates in grade-level collaboration, field trips, and school events; requires a Bachelor's degree and prior teaching or youth-work experience; strong math, writing, spelling, grammar, and communication skills; proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; available for on-campus, full-time schedule with occasional evenings/weekends.
Required Qualifications
