Job Summary

Develop an understanding of technical laws and regulations related to the ECS practice, including EPA, CARB, and transportation fuel rules, while researching issues and providing management with coherent information. Work closely with experienced team members to identify and resolve assignment issues through effective communication, consistently performing and taking ownership of small projects and engagements under supervision. Assist with consulting and attestation engagements, including work paper preparation, and maintain appropriate professionalism in client and team interactions. Keep supervisors apprised of engagement and scheduling issues on a timely basis while demonstrating mindfulness of budget and deadline considerations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in US public accounting (assurance or advisory), project management, and/or business administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Sufficient technical skills to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position
  • Experience with transportation fuels regulations preferred but not required
  • Exposure to RINs, EMTS and/or experience with other credit trading regulations and trading platforms is preferred but not required

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred (i.e., Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentration in Accounting)
  • Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CPA
