Job Summary
Match original source formatting while maintaining target language typography standards across technical docs, brochures, and art files. Manage and realize DTP projects in connection with translation and localization efforts, preparing project data in various formats using CAT tools. Conduct quality control, post-processing, and maintenance of project files, including graphic design, preprint preparation, and edition for posters and brochures. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and global translation teams while working with multiple languages including Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, and French.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of different DTP tools, e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, FrameMaker etc.
- Willingness to learn new things
- Languages required English writing and reading
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A keen and learning attitude
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team
