Job Summary
Associate Distribution Engineer responsible for developing construction work packages for electric distribution systems (OH, UG, URD environments) using Bentley Open Utilities Design, CAD, GIS, and WMS. Tasks include engineering calculations (structural analysis of poles and guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop, flicker, and coordination of protective devices), preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating Right-of-Way acquisitions, developing BOMs, estimating costs, and customer advocacy (easements). Travel to project locations for field investigations. Opportunities for career development and growth, with emphasis on training (EIT, PE, PMP) and leadership development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field
- six plus (6+) months of prior relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
