Job Summary
Dishwasher role in Thistle kitchen reporting to Culinary Supervisor. Responsibilities include washing wares and equipment, operating a commercial dishwashing machine, following a manual three-compartment sink process, maintaining a clean and organized dish room, proper allergen handling, following GMP and COVID safety guidelines, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, stocking sanitation supplies, completing dishwashing logs and sanitation QA/QA documentation, communicating safety or equipment issues to culinary leadership, identifying inventory shorts, and supporting culinary leadership with QA audits and, as needed, Associate Cook duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Ability to operate a large-scale dish machine and 3-compartment sink
- Ability to form effective working relationships with a cross-functional team
- Ability to adhere to company SOPs and support new initiatives
- Experience in high-volume dishwashing is greatly preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend or early morning shifts
- Be punctual and abide by attendance guidelines
- Dress appropriately for working in wet conditions
