Job Summary
Lead a distributed Validation Engineering organization across CT and FL, overseeing frontline supervisors and engineering teams performing development, rig, and production test activities. Provide strategic and technical direction to align validation capabilities with commercial and military program needs, drive discipline health and adherence to engineering standards, and manage resource planning. Develop outsourcing strategies, oversee work packages and supplier integration, and ensure test execution meets schedule, cost, and performance commitments. Maintain regulatory and safety compliance, foster cross-site collaboration, and build a disciplined, validation-driven culture through talent planning and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or related field)
- 10+ years of engineering experience with significant exposure to test, validation, or related disciplines
- Experience supporting commercial and/or military program environments
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
