Associate Director - TSMS Dry External Manufacturing

Associate Director – Technical Services/Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) Dry Products External Manufacturing leads the TS/MS and ENG teams supporting external manufacturing of dry product forms. Responsible for coaching technical staff, prioritization and staffing for routine production support, implementation of technical projects, technical transfers, commercialization, process optimizations and engineering oversight. Requires knowledge of cGMPs, regulatory manufacturing guidance, and industry standards for validation and engineering practices. Interfaces with regulators, customers, and outside stakeholders on business issues and audits; defines strategic direction to improve process control, yield, and productivity. Oversees investigations, CAPA, and monitoring improvements, including change controls, expert opinions, validations, and annual product reviews. Manages cross-functional interactions within TS/MS, ENG, and other functions to align technical agendas with site business plan objectives and GMP Quality Plan objectives. Ensures technical oversight for oral solid dose form manufacturing and drug product intermediates (e.g., spray dried dispersions/amorphous solid dispersions) and coordinates with external manufacturers to deliver on product/business plans. Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, skills, and geographic location; anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 - $180,400 with eligible bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
