Job Summary
Manage and coordinate the IT function across software development, infrastructure, operations, and security to meet business requirements. Deliver the roadmap for Client Onboarding and Enterprise Business Services & Platforms by leading multiple teams responsible for application development, modification, and maintenance. Identify and resolve complex information technology challenges while driving technical excellence and strategic initiatives. Organize production support activities across multiple time zones and influence prioritization of business unit technology projects to manage risk. Work a hybrid schedule with three days in the office at the St. Petersburg, FL location, including nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities. This role supports Raymond James' diversified financial services operations and aligns with core values of client-first integrity and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Hybrid work model with expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location

- Strong industry expertise in designing and building high-performance applications using Java technologies

Desired Qualifications
- Experience building scalable Java/Spring Boot-based API platforms integrated with decision engines
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk or similar)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git)
- Background in building user-centric, API-driven platforms with seamless digital experiences
- Proven ability to lead and scale AI adoption within Agile/DevOps teams, with measurable impact on velocity, cycle time, and quality
- Experience mentoring teams and driving engineering best practices across decisioning, API, and data platforms
