Associate Director, Strategic Account Management - Oncology

Job Summary
Develop and maintain account plans including SWOT analysis, strategic imperatives, and stakeholder mapping for C/D-suite leaders and population decision-makers at large oncology group practices and academic cancer centers. Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Market Access, and other functions to optimize consistent care delivery within operational workflows at scale. Engage Healthcare Decision-Makers to establish longitudinal entity-to-entity relationships and facilitate seamless customer engagement experiences. Synthesize actionable information to improve operational access and inform both XF account strategy and SAM evolution. Requires seven years of pharmaceutical sales experience, 75% travel, and a background selling companion diagnostics or oncology testing.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be located in or within a reasonable distance to Cleveland-OH, Chicago-IL, St. Louis-MO, Columbus-OH, or Pittsburgh-PA
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
- At least seven years of pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience
- Previous Account Management experience
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare Management, landscape, and compliance
- High level of written, verbal and virtual communication skills
- Possess excellent business acumen, business insights, and strategic mindset
- A track record of excellent leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with numerous stakeholders at all levels and in all disciplines
- Experience selling at the C/D-suite
- Demonstrate confidence, persuasiveness, ability to motivate others, and ability to influence without formal authority
- Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
- Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
