Job Summary
Lead and manage a statistical programming group, driving timely, high-quality deliverables across internal and outsourced work. Shape and implement programming standards, applications, processes, and training for your therapeutic area. Partner with study and project teams to clarify requirements and guide programmers through assignment execution. Represent Statistical Programming with partnering functions to ensure specifications and computing needs are met. Set goals, manage performance, and mentor direct reports while contributing to hiring by screening and interviewing candidates. Master's degree in Statistics or related discipline with 10+ years of clinical programming experience required. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of clinical programming experience
- Advanced SAS programming skills (Base, Stat, Macro, Graph) within a clinical data environment
- Demonstrated project and people management experience, including work across global, interdisciplinary teams
- Expertise in one or more therapeutic areas and strong understanding of pharmaceutical clinical development and regulatory submissions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- SAS certification
- Leadership experience supporting the hiring, development, and evaluation of junior staff and contractors
