Job Summary
Associate Director, APAC Client Coverage in Seoul leading sales and relationship management for S&P DJI products in South Korea, with a focus on ESG, Climate, Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset indices. Responsible for driving revenue growth, client retention, account planning and consultative selling, engaging with asset managers, ETF issuers, market data consumers, redistributors, insurers, proprietary trading firms, and other market participants. Tasks include pitching new index concepts, negotiating contracts, ensuring licensed-use compliance, identifying licensing opportunities, and collaborating with legal, product management, research, and other internal teams to deliver value. Strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills; requires Koean and English proficiency and deep knowledge of index benchmarks and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of successful track record in relationship management and/or revenue generation in South Korea
- Experience with contracts, commercials, and fee proposals
- Experience in driving sales of ESG/Climate related products in financial institutions
