Job Summary
Lead development and tactical initiatives for social media strategies; serve as social media counsel to Account staff and external clients; manage a team of junior staff across multiple projects; drive strategy, execution, platform collaboration, and social consultation; conduct social listening research to unearth insights and provide observations; create and optimize social listening queries and data pulls; develop influencer relationship programs including identification, analysis, and curation of influencers; convey paid social planning recommendations to clients and illustrate how social fits into a broader digital ecosystem and PESO structure; collaborate with subject-matter experts, educate peers, and act as the primary external SME; take responsibility for the financial health of social media projects; scope, staff, and report on initiatives by budget, task, and effort; build the business organically and participate in new business pitches; demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism or Communications/PR
- Approximately 5+ years of related agency or business experience
- Hands-on familiarity with social media tools and social listening platforms
- Ability to derive insights and actionable steps from social listening data and platform performance
- Understanding of paid media role within social strategy and importance of influencers
