Job Summary
Associate Director, Senior Data Analyst (Clinical Sciences) based in Germany (Munich or Mainz) focusing on Clinical Data and Analytics. Liaises with Clinical Science to understand business needs, documents Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs), defines transformation logic, and supports implementation of clinical solutions. Serves as a technical SME across clinical functional areas, coordinates vendor interactions, validates CSV/GxP-compliant processes, and maintains validation documentation. Requires 10-12+ years in Clinical Operations/Data Management, strong SQL and Spotfire skills, and experience with EDC, Databricks, and other clinical systems; demonstrates ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and operate within global matrix organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant scientific or technical field
- 10 -12+ years experience in Clinical Operations/Data Management
- Strong understanding of Clinical business processes
- Experience in process development, mapping, and gap analysis
- Experience working with vendors and maintaining systems
- Hands-on experience with SQL, reporting tools (e.g., Spotfire)
- Knowledge of GxP, CSV, and SDLC and strong understanding of Clinical systems and data
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and strong collaboration across business and IT teams
- Ability to operate in global matrix organizations and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage change and prioritize based on business value
