Job Summary
Design, plan, and execute statistical components of HEOR studies to demonstrate the economic value of pharmaceutical assets. Use SAS to analyze medical claims, electronic medical claims, survey, and clinical data; perform QC analyses; create analytical databases; and contribute to the writing and publishing of scientific presentations. Collaborate with HEOR researchers, support clinical trial endpoint strategies, and maintain complex databases with robust validation, access controls, and documentation. Requires Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics or related discipline; 5+ years SAS/SQL experience; UNIX familiarity; strong communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders; hybrid remote role based in Irvine, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAS, SAS Macro and SQL programming
- Experience in analysis of large medical claims datasets
- UNIX environment experience a plus
- Ability to execute programming assignments independently
- Ability to present complex research to stakeholders
