Job Summary
Associate Director, RWE Analytics will design, plan, and execute statistical components of HEOR studies to demonstrate economic value of pharmaceutical assets. The role uses SAS to analyze medical/claims data, QC analyses, and contributes to reports and scientific presentations. Responsibilities include creating analytical databases from raw data, identifying internal/external data resources, supporting clinical trial endpoint strategies, and ensuring data access, security, and documentation. Requires Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics or related field (PhD preferred) and at least 5 years of SAS/SAS Macro/SQL experience; experience with large medical claims datasets and UNIX is a plus. Position located in Boston, MA with hybrid remote option; compensation range is $141,500–$268,500 depending on location and other factors.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics or related discipline required; PhD preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAS, SAS Macro and SQL programming
- Experience in analysis of large medical claims datasets preferred
- Proficiency in SAS software to analyze medical claims, electronic medical claims, survey, and clinical databases
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain complex databases; strong data management and programming skills
- Strong communication skills to present results to stakeholders and contribute to scientific publications
