Job Summary
Lead strategic research programs across mixed methodologies, managing end-to-end delivery from design to insights for high-profile clients. Own a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue targets, client satisfaction, and growth while resolving project issues swiftly. Implement first-class project management, delegate daily activities, and mentor junior colleagues through supervision and training. Champion a tech-first mindset by integrating automation and AI into research techniques. Work onsite in London 1-2 days per week within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team focused on improving deliverable quality and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in research methodologies and analytics (quant & qual)
- Ability to design research materials and approaches tailored to diverse client needs
- Strong project management experience in a research or insight agency
- Experience in public, charity or higher education sectors
- Commercial mindset with a track record of developing proposals and innovative solutions to client briefs
- Confidence to challenge established practices and champion technology adoption
- Natural curiosity and appetite for continuous learning
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience mentoring juniors
- Solid expertise in a research capacity

Desired Qualifications
- Ideally, the role is mixed methodology (although with a priority focus on quantitative)
- Good data & Tech skills — e.g. R, Python, data visualisation, or advanced AI tools
- Qualitative research experience beyond standard methods, e.g. working with peer researchers or online communities
- Experience running client workshops or embedding/activating research results within an organisation
