Job Summary
Associate Director Public Affairs & PR for the Belgian market, based in Brussels (hybrid; min. 2 days in the office). Serve as the primary day-to-day contact on assigned workstreams, own full deliverables and team output, draft client-facing materials (memos, reports, presentations, scenario plans, digital content), coordinate junior team members, lead research and synthesize insights to support recommendations, translate strategies into actionable work plans, identify client needs and support account growth, contribute to new business via research, pitching, and proposals, and mentor junior associates while modeling DGA’s values.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in political sciences, law, communications, economics, history or related field
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Public Affairs and PR; consultancy experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the Belgian market
- Dutch or French mother tongue, strong proficiency in the other language and English (reading & listening – B1/B2)
- Experience in managing client accounts and day-to-day delivery of client projects
- Team player with international collaboration experience
- Resilient, solution-oriented mindset with prioritization skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, proactive networking and stakeholder engagement
