Job Summary
Associate Director, Project Delivery at Avalere Health responsible for leading and delivering pharmaceutical/healthcare project programs. Manages a portfolio of accounts and programs, acts as delivery lead, guides cross-functional teams, defines roadmaps, enforces project standards and PM systems, mentors senior PMs and APMs, and maintains client relationships. Requires strong verbal/written communication, independent problem-solving, budgeting and resource planning, and ability to translate business objectives into operational delivery. Hybrid/remote work options available with travel to client locations as needed. Emphasis on disciplined workflow, continuous improvement of agency processes, and capability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across a healthcare/pharma context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Masters-level degree a plus
- 7+ years experience in project management within a healthcare agency environment
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical brand marketing including broadcast, print, digital and Medical/Legal/regulatory review
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with MS Project or Smartsheet
- Experience with production tools/software (Egnyte, JIRA, Asana, CMS)
- Familiar with web technologies and digital campaigns
- Ability to lead and mentor PMs and APMs
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and staffing skills
- Ability to manage schedules and risk
- Travel to client locations may be required
