Job Summary
Associate Director responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for category management within a specific category, building a robust foundation for sustained value generation and enabling LRP success. Administer the development and implementation of category management best practices, standards, policies, procedures, and training modules. Drive category performance improvement initiatives with cross-functional category managers, facilitate regular Category Business Reviews, and serve as a central knowledge base for category management. Enable collaboration and information sharing, track category performance metrics, identify improvements, and share category value generation thought leadership internally and externally. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of procurement/supply chain experience with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing senior internal business and functional leaders
- Proven expertise in category management and detailed understanding of category-specific requirements
- Experience leading the development and implementation of category strategy to optimize processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
