Associate Director, Private Markets

Job Summary
Develop and execute RBC's private markets strategy for UHNW clients, Family Offices, and Enterprise Strategic Clients by evaluating opportunities in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, venture capital, hedge funds, secondaries, and bespoke investments. Partner with business lines including Global Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Corporate Client Group to identify, curate, and facilitate client participation. Serve as a subject matter expert to support complex client conversations and deliver differentiated investment solutions. Monitor global private capital markets to identify emerging trends and develop thought leadership content. Coordinate cross-enterprise delivery while ensuring regulatory and governance compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in private markets, investment banking, institutional asset management, family office, or alternative investments
- Strong understanding of Private Equity, private credit, infrastructure, venture capital, secondaries, and co-investments
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex investment concepts
- Bachelor's degree
- CIRO licensing or ability to obtain
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business lines without direct authority
