Job Summary
Lead and oversee end-to-end privacy and data protection programs tailored to client requirements, including advanced assessments like gap analyses, DPIAs, PIAs, and RoPA. Assess client frameworks and controls to contribute to transformation roadmaps while designing governance structures that embed privacy-by-design principles. Manage third-party risk assessments and vendor due diligence, guiding organizations on data lifecycle management and cross-border transfer mechanisms. Support breach response readiness and lead Data Subject Rights programs through collaboration with senior stakeholders. This role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience in privacy consulting and strong expertise in global regulations like GDPR and CCPA. Based in India, this position offers a clear leadership growth path within a high-growth firm focused on shaping global privacy practice strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in privacy, data protection, or privacy consulting
- Strong expertise in global privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPL, etc.)
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level privacy programs and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Deep understanding of privacy frameworks, data mapping, DPIAs, and privacy risk management
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with privacy tools such as OneTrust, Securiti.ai, BigID, or similar platforms
- Relevant certifications preferred: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A strategic, solution-oriented, and impact-driven mindset
