Job Summary
Associate Director, Planning System Lead responsible for driving process improvements and standard methodologies in Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) planning across JJ IM, focusing on enhancing operational planning, forecasting efficiency, and data quality. Lead data quality initiatives, define and implement planning capabilities, and partner with business teams to deliver technology-enabled solutions (Planisware/E7) that standardize planning across Therapeutic Areas and Global Development. Act as a Project Manager to increase transparency of planning initiatives, manage timelines/resources/risks, and support UAT/training/adoption. Collaborate with PPR, DPDS, and end users to refine planning insights for senior leadership, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 8+ years in pharma/CRO, PMP preferred, strong leadership, communication, and data-management capabilities, with up to 10% international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific or business discipline
- 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/ CRO environment
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to lead multiple projects
