Job Summary
Conduct extensive research in Arkansas and surrounding states to assess needs of under-represented and economically disadvantaged K-12 and pre-med populations. Create, develop, and execute on- and off-campus pipeline programs including workshops, leadership development, tours, and science/math prep courses. Cultivate relationships with school district superintendents, administrators, faculty, and AACOM representatives to recruit candidates for medical school and STEM professions. Implement an assessment program for tracking recruitment, retention, and program outcomes. Aid in strategic recruitment events and manage the Outreach Mentor Program and Student Ambassador Education Team. Train and supervise student assistants as assigned. Research and identify federal, state, and private funding sources for student preparation programs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in program development and implementation
